Now You Kno. About Multi-Hyphenated Creativity

With Mixed-Media Artist Adrian Octavius Walker

Taking the time to listen to someone else’s story can help us understand the world differently. It allows us to connect with and ultimately honor the humanity in one another while expanding our everyday perspective. Introducing Now You Kno.: An IGTV coffee chat series sharing stories and advice from change making creators of color brought to you in partnership with La Colombe

In our fourth episode: “Now You Kno. About Multi-Hyphenate Creativity,” Mixed-Media Artist Adrian Octavius Walker shares a bit about his many projects since he lost his job during quarantine, how and why he’s expanding the notion of Blackness through his work and more.

“Through my own experience being a Black man in America and being able to have a voice, I just want to push out other people. My work is based around that.” Adrian shares during the chat.

Adrian is a Chicago based mixed-media artist, activist and marketer originally from St. Louis who works to amplify others voices and challenge people to think beyond their everyday and is the latest guest on our Now You Kno. series.
